What a Thanksgiving! We were originally invited to a
dinner at 4 with a family who has 9 kids. Then the day before,
we were invited to a Thanksgiving lunch at 2 with a family that is
investigating the church. So we thought we could do both. Unfortunately, the
lunch at 2 ended up really being at 3 and the dinner at 4 ended up really being
3:30, so we were very late to the one at 3:30. Of course I was mortified when
we called the second family to apologize and they said it was fine and that we
should still come over which was so nice of them—they had all the other
missionaries over along with in-laws so their house was plenty full without us.
We were STUFFED afterward though.
This week, our senior sister was sick so we 'heart-attacked'
her door. They were very grateful for the gesture so they invited us over for
dinner. Dinner was good and between dinner and dessert her husband broke out
his guitar and they sang one of my favorite songs—Rivers and Roads. It was
really very sweet of them. We then and root beer floats and we were on our way.
I love our senior couple. They have been so good to us.
My first companion was going through some difficulties, so we
got to chat on the phone this week. It was so nice to talk to her!! I love her and I'm looking forward to being
friends with her after the mission. She's so awesome.

| Great Christmas tree idea. |
Oh! We don't have a Christmas Tree but I wanted to decorate
so we bought wrapping paper and some lights and ornaments at the dollar store
and we made a Wall Tree!
Last night as we were coming home we saw one of our neighbors
and we complimented her on her decorations. She said that she made them all
herself and showed us how she decorates wreaths. She tried to teach us but we
weren't so good at it. She said she'd make one for us and lent us a little
mini Christmas tree :] So nice! We're making her truffles today.
For Christmas we have plans with the our senior couple to make
gingerbread houses! You know how I like making those! haha! And I'll be Skyping with you for Christmas in just 23 days!
Love you, Mom!!
