All is Well

This week was stressful since we were planning a wedding and a baptism. It was even more challenging because the couple was short on funds and didn't have a car or a phone. It made communicating difficult, but after fasting and prayer everything worked out just as we'd hoped. The couple is awesome! They were married and it was so sweet and a good length of time. We bought them a cake and decorated as best we could. and the baptism was beautiful. I was excited for them but I don't feel like I did anything really. They came to church so prepared that Sunday we met them. There's pretty much an app for everything we teach and we never really presented any new information to them. They were just so prepared by the Lord. It was all his doing and the Spirit's. But I'm happy I was able to be apart of it. And they loved that necklace and tie we gave them :]

Striking a happy pose.
Speaking of being out of town. We had a Sister's conference on Thursday. It was a lot of fun to see other sister missionaries. (Our area only has us, so we don't have the opportunity to hang out with other sister missionaries very often). We did some yoga and it was good fun. She drove us to and from Pratt where the meeting was. And along the way we stopped at the worlds largest hand dug well! The things Kansas has right?? It was a lot of fun and I really enjoy stopping at places like that on road trips.

The World's Largest Hand-Dug Well! (That's a lot of digging!)

I've finished my training program and will be getting a new companion this Wednesday. I'm going to miss my companion so much and I'll be training. A bit like the blind leading the blind. But it will be a good learning experience and perhaps I'll be a leader by the end of it. I suspect I'm training a visa waiter (someone who is waiting for their visa before they go overseas). My companion suggests I get a GPS because she got her own and it has been very helpful. Other than that, all we have are maps.

Also just a side note: I talked in my sleep for the first time as far as I know. My companion says that at 4 in the morning I asked if it was my turn yet. She checked the time and decided not to answer me. but I hope it's not a habit I'm developing.

Thanks for doing all you do for me mom. I love you bunches! And I'll be sending you something for your birthday that I haven't forgotten about! :]

I love the Book of Mormon because it's "voices crying from the dust" as it says. It is so cool to learn more about it and my knowledge of the Book of Mormon really isn't that great so I'm trying to learn more about it. Other missionaries know the stories so well and know so much about them. I need to work on that.

Love you!
