Red, White--and Blue!

Sister Speed and I before transfers
This week we did our laundry starting with our whites and when they were all done we noticed a red smear on one of them so we looked at all of them and yep--red stains on every white piece. After some investigating, we found that somehow a piece of Sister Speed's cinnamon gum had gotten into our whites. I've tried a bunch but the stains have yet to come out entirely.
I hit my one-year mark on June 26! Yay! But it was generally a rough day what with four appointments falling through and all of our new investigators dropping us.
Later, we got a call from the A.P.s and we were informed that I was being transferred on Saturday and to pack my things. So now I'm in Hays Kansas serving with Sister McClees. The ward seems really nice but everyone doesn’t always get my name right. One lady came up and tried to pronounce my name and it was the worst one yet. She said "Now let's see, you're Sister...morganschtien?" I had to laugh a little and correct her but she thought it was funny too so it was all good.
Sister McClees is really nice and she has a Uke too, so she's going to teach me some more songs.
I love you mom and thank you so much for all you do for me and for the missionaries serving at home J
