Snow Day

Brrrrr!!!
We were snowed in on Tuesday during which time we didn't do a whole lot but the Mormon messages you sent me have been great! I wrote a few letters and did some things here and there but mostly in the apartment--because we were snowed in!

Wednesday there were exchanges and even though there was a lot of snow and the buses weren't running the missionaries had to drive. So we couldn't do much because they took our car to Wichita for exchanges. We did walk a ways from one house to our dinner appointment but that was fun. I fell in the snow a couple of times but we just laughed it off and Sis Gurr would help me up each time. Sister Gurr and I have been struggling to find new investigators. We both hate tracting, but we're going to do it this week so that will be great.

We visited a less active family the other day. We came over and they welcomed us in and gave us hot chocolate and banana bread. We talked about prayer and that God hears our prayers. The husband was very touched and his eyes were watering and we ended up having a really great discussion about it. As we were leaving, he asked if we had gloves and his eyes watered again and he said that if I didn't have gloves he would have bought some for me :). That was so sweet. But I DO have gloves--thanks, Mom!

I've been reading the New Testament and the Old Testament and I love it! I'm learning a lot. I could always learn more but I’m really enjoying it. I'm currently just starting Acts. and I’m in Numbers and I'm in Mosiah in the Book of Mormon.
